Karin Kirkpatrick Campbell

Registrar and Chief Executive Officer

In January of 2011, Karin began as Registrar and CEO of PCTIA, a BC Provincial Crown Corporation regulating the private post secondary career training sector. She is a board member of the BC Council for International Education, an ex-officio member of the Degree Quality Assessment Board, and an appointed member of the Judicial Council of BC.

Karin was previously the CEO of the Real Estate Foundation of BC. For six years she was Assistant Dean at the Sauder School of Business and Director of the Centre for CEO Leadership with the University of British Columbia. Karin owned and operated her own business for 6 years. She has a Master of Business Administration degree, is a Certified Management Accountant, and has a Certified Human Resource Professional designation.

Monica Lust

Assistant Registrar

Monica was appointed Assistant Registrar in 2010. She has held various positions within the Agency and its predecessor, the Private Post Secondary Education Commission. She was the Executive Director of the BC Career Colleges Association from 2000 to 2007. Monica holds a Joint Honours Degree (BA) from McGill University.

Luce Lafontaine

Legal Counsel

Luce joined PCTIA in 2011 as legal counsel. Prior to PCTIA she spent 1 year with Vancity as Director of Corporate Compliance and 7 years with Computershare Trust Company of Canada. Luce has worked in business law. She has a Bachelor of Law (Common Law) from the University of Victoria, and a Bachelor of Law (Civil Law) from the University of Montreal. She is called to the bar in British Columbia.
